Against the Tide is a short documentary that focuses on the current Coney Island Polar Bear Club, and how the uncommon experience of cold water swimming has brought people together from all walks of life as a tight knit community movement that captures the power of the human spirit.

Young At Heart
Brian Paccione, Poughkeepsie NY, USA. Documentary Short, 12:29

World Premiere!

Combining both aspects of experimental and documentary film, 'Young At Heart' creates a unique genre mirroring the charlatans and showmen who spin dubious tales of greatness and fame among the ruins of the playground of the world -- Coney Island USA. The film focuses on three characters: Captain Bob, Mayor Philly, and Tony 'The Cigar'. Their stories and memories are woven together with historical footage of Coney Island, prophecies of doom, visions of heaven and grandiose dreams.
