A Documentary profile of the eccentric artist, Kembra Pfahler, leader of The Voloptuos Horror of Karen Black a seminal band that blurs the line between art and music in thier stage shows utilizing full body paint and large homemade props and costumes.

Spanning a 15 year career as a performance artist, musician and fashion designer this film exposes the woman behind the body paint. Life often imitates art in this artists world, as she uses extreme transgressional body work to express herself, in performances such as abracadaver, where she attaches fabric from her wrist to her vulva. Above all, Kembra's work is original and she is a powerful female force that inspires women around her, both personally and professionally.
